We are seeking to appoint a teacher of A Level Sociology on a fixed‑term basis for one year, starting September 2026. The successful candidate will join our dynamic team, supporting students aged 11‑18 across our three school sites, which are equipped with an Arts Centre and partnerships with the University of Oxford’s sports facilities.
Responsibilities
- Teach A Level Sociology on a full‑time schedule.
- Optionally teach the equivalent A Level Criminology, if you possess the required subject expertise.
- There is the possibility of taking on a pastoral role within the Sixth Form for suitably qualified candidates.
Requirements
- A valid DBS check is mandatory to safeguard student welfare.
- Appropriate qualifications and experience in sociology and, ideally, criminology.
- Sufficient documentation to work in the UK – visas are not offered by d’Overbroeck’s.
