Dover Street Market is seeking an experienced trading manager to lead the commercial trading performance of the DSML E‑Shop, owning strategy, execution and results. As the senior trade lead, you will drive revenue growth, conversion and stock efficiency, working cross‑functionally with Merchandising, Marketing, Studio and Brand Partners in a fast‑paced luxury retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own total DSML E-Shop sales and trading performance, delivering agreed revenue and growth targets.
  • Define and execute seasonal trading strategies to optimise conversion, AOV, sell‑through and stock efficiency.
  • Lead weekly and monthly trading reviews, proactively managing in‑season risks and opportunities.
  • Own sales and trade reporting, translating performance data into clear actions for senior stakeholders.
  • Oversee on‑site product presentation, visual merchandising and content standards in line with VMD and brand direction.
  • Ensure timely delivery and prioritisation of new product, managing low‑stock and sold‑out lines commercially.
  • Act as the senior trade partner across Merchandising, Marketing, Studio, Customer Service and Brand Partners.
  • Work closely with Digital Marketing and the Paid Media agency to align spend and activation with trading priorities.
  • Lead and develop a small on‑site e‑commerce team, setting clear commercial objectives and driving strong execution.
  • Champion a culture of curiosity, accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Support ad hoc projects aligned to the wider e‑commerce and business roadmap.

The Ideal Candidate

  • 6–8+ years’ experience in e‑commerce trading within a retail or luxury environment.
  • Proven track record of owning and driving online sales performance.
  • Strong commercial and analytical capability, with confidence turning insight into action.
  • Naturally positive, energetic and motivating, with a presence that lifts teams and builds momentum.
  • Experience working closely with performance marketing teams and agencies.
  • Confident influencing senior stakeholders and external partners.
  • Advanced Excel skills; Shopify experience preferred.
