We are looking for an experienced and passionate Pastry Chef to join our small team at Rose Bakery, working closely with the kitchen team. Kitchen experience is essential. Energy, adaptability along with a great attitude are also key for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, bake, and present a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods to the highest standards.
- Work closely with the Sous Chef to develop and refine recipes, ensuring consistency and creativity in our pastry offerings.
- Manage your section efficiently, maintaining a well-organised and clean workspace.
- Ensure all pastries and desserts meet our quality and presentation standards before leaving the kitchen.
- Assist in stock control, ordering, and minimizing food waste.
- Maintain excellent food safety and hygiene practices at all times.
Skills Required
- Minimum 2 year pastry experience required.
- Food Hygiene & Safety Level 2 is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible attitude and ability to manage a varied workload.
- Ability to work independently and to be self-motivated.
