Junior Photographer (6 month initial contract)

This role requires a skilled photographer and retoucher to join our e-commerce studio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring all product is photographed and retouched to a high standard and to our guidelines. Must be available to work on weekends as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Photograph still life e-commerce images according to DSM guidelines
• Ensure deadlines are met and delays are communicated
• Prepare flat lay and still life sets and lighting
• Deliver high-quality, consistent retouching
• Cropping and resizing
• Work with retouching contractors
• Prepare product for photography
• Flat lay garment styling

Skills

• Expert user of digital cameras and lighting equipment
• Proficient in Photoshop and Capture One
• File organisation and naming techniques
• 2+ years experience in product photography and retouching
• A strong commercial photography portfolio that demonstrates excellent command of photography, lighting and retouching techniques
• Ability to draw and read lighting diagrams to achieve consistent results
• Highly organised and able to prioritise workloads
