Managing and coordinating the Operational elements of Buying within the Merchandising team and supporting the Buyer through Market and in achieving trade targets through delivering departmental and channel strategies. This role is instrumental in driving the flow of stock through the business; from Purchase Order management, through to timely deliveries and co-ordination of key launches across Store and E-Shop. The right candidate will be exceptionally organised and capable of managing communication with the many varied suppliers of Dover Street Market International.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Buyer in all aspects of trading and managing brands.
- Liaising with both store and E-Shop teams to communicate / align on key launches and optimise the performance of the brands.
- Travel to and attend key buy appointments to assist Buyer where necessary.
- Overseeing purchase order management – setting up orders on JOOR, sending PO to brand, raising on Retail Pro.
- Ensuring order confirmations are received and flagging up discrepancies to the brands / Merchandising.
- Coordinate deliveries, ensuring timely arrival within agreed deadline.
- Working with Stock Control and Warehouse to ensure stock is in the best place and discrepancies are kept to a minimum.
- Reverse replenishment between stock locations.
- Working closely with the Finance team to ensure payments are timely and any invoice issues are resolved promptly.
- FarFetch upload; working closely with FarFetch Manager to ensure buy brands are optimised and fully locked in.
- To be present for all brand visits to DSML and installs.
- Working alongside buyer attending and contributing to weekly trade meetings.
- Reviewing trade weekly versus target and proposing trade actions.

- Invoice / delivery discrepancies
- Manage BAA workload in respect to all the above, providing direction and mentorship
- FarFetch association, upload, photography, and pricing
