“TWG”, A Dover Company, is the group name we use to refer to the industry’s foremost producers of quality winches, hoists, gear drives and electronic monitoring systems for global industrial applications. The seven brands comprising TWG include Tulsa Winch, Rufnek, Greer, dp Winch, Gear Products, Pullmaster and LANTEC. Operating from the Jenks, Oklahoma facility are the Tulsa Winch, Rufnek, Greer, dp Winch and Gear Products brands with Pullmaster and LANTEC brands operating from the Surrey, British Columbia, Canada.
This position is accountable to the Manager, Quality and Safety with responsibility for the implementation of the concepts, practices and procedures within the health, safety and environmental fields and Quality Assurance with responsibility for quality planning, process improvement and problem resolution including all Integrated Management procedures.
Essential Responsibilities:- Safety
- Advises appropriate staff when parts are non-conforming and manages non-conforming materials.
- Reports test results of sample parts to stakeholders as required.
- Formulates and maintains quality control objectives and supervises quality workers engaged in operations and quality control processes.
- Plans, promotes, and organizes quality training activities for Quality Control Department and production staff.
- Investigates and addresses quality complaints.
- Plans and coordinates procurement, maintenance, calibration and records for inspection and testing equipment.
- Administers safety training of all managers, supervisors and leads.
- Coordinates safety training as applicable with needs and WBC requirements.
- Maintains compliance with governmental regulatory agencies.
- Manages waste disposal contracts, procedures and compliance.
- Communicates Safety alerts resulting from inspections, near misses and injuries.
- Coordinates routine fire and alarm system, crane and elevator inspections and testing.
- Coordinates spill cleanup and prevention.
- May be required to help in other departments as directed.
- Acts as the internal Lead ISO Auditor.
- Ensures internal ISO audits are done effectively and on time.
- Leads external ISO audit prep company wide.
- Ensures all quality assurance schedules are maintained.
- Provide root cause and corrective actions for production and supplier quality issues.
- Work closely with the Manager Quality and Safety in developing internal quality improvement plans.
- Establish and maintain ISO policy and procedures.
- Combine and integrate PMW & LWG ISO policies and procedures into one document/one practice for TWG Canadian Operations.
- Work along with all departments to ensure ISO procedures are kept up to date.
- Work along with Engineering to provide corrective actions internally and to external customers.
- Implements ongoing improvement processes working with interdepartmental teams.
- Develop and manage quality assurance and environmental metrics for performance improvement of all teams and to measure key suppliers.
- Measures the internal cost of quality.
- Utilizes six sigma/various Lean management techniques where needed.
- Manages and responds to quality assurance and environmental issues with related groups such as IT support, Engineering, Supply Chain/outside services/purchased product, Manufacturing and Sales/Customer support.
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field and two to three years-related combined experience in the areas of Safety, Quality Control, Continuous Improvement and Operations; or equivalent successful combination of education and experience.
- Must be able to travel as required and/or directed.

- Proficiency using the Company’s ERP software, communication systems, computer systems, software systems, operating systems, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel and other related programs.

- Must be able to perform the following physical activities: standing, walking, sitting, kneeling, bending, lifting, balancing, stooping, reaching, handling, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing.
- Must be able to move around obstructions such as boxes, chairs, desks, office equipment and other related items that may be on the floor.
- May require lifting up to 50 pounds with or without lifting aids and devices.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing shop and climate-controlled office environment as job duties require.
- May be exposed to loud operating machinery and cold or hot temperatures.
Additional duties may be performed by individuals currently holding this or similar positions and additional duties may be assigned.

Bonus:This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
