Summary: As a Human Resources Business Partner at Microwave Products Group – K&L Microwave in Salisbury, MD, you will be responsible for working closely with business leaders and employees to understand needs, provide HR expertise, and implement strategies that support organizational success. The HRBP is responsible for delivering value-added service to management and employees while focusing on strategic alignment, talent management, and organizational development.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives, working closely with senior leadership.
  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, succession planning, and performance management to ensure the right talent is in the right roles. Ensure employees are aware of other opportunities to grow within the organization.
  • Address employee concerns, resolve conflicts, and foster a positive work environment.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations. Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Support organizational change initiatives, implement new policies, and improve processes.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, make data-driven recommendations, and improve HR practices.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and industry standards. Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with the legal department as needed/required.
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Manage compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain talent. Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Identify training needs and participate in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follow up to ensure training objectives are met.

Requirements Include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration or related field
  • 5+ Years of progressive HR experience required
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Previous HRIS experience required, SAP or Workday preferred
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Intermediate or above MS Office skills, specifically Excel
  • High level of confidentiality required
  • Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills
  • SHRM or HRCI certification preferred
  • Self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Pay Range: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 annually

Bonus Eligible: This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
