Dovehaven Care Homes are recruiting for a Support Worker to join our dedicated team on Rowan Unit, Tag Lane, Ingol, Preston. We currently have x3 positions on this unit working DAYS or NIGHTS 8-8 on a rota basis with alternate weekend availability required. 33hr contracts available.
Rowan Unit is a 19-bed facility supporting adults with complex needs including Dementia plus, Parkinson’s Disease, Schizophrenia, brain injury, enduring mental health conditions and behavioural support requirements.
Your Role
As a Support Worker, you’ll play a vital part in helping individuals achieve their goals and maintain independence. You’ll support with personal care, daily living activities, and engagement in therapeutic routines, using trauma-informed approaches and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS).
