Dovehaven Care Homes are recruiting for a RMN to join our dedicated team on Rowan Unit, Tag Lane, Ingol, Preston. We currently have x2 positions on this unit working DAYS or NIGHTS 8-8 on a rota basis with alternate weekend availability required. 33hr contracts available. Rowan Unit is a 19 bed facility supporting adults with complex needs including Dementia plus, Parkinson’s Disease, Schizophrenia, brain injury, enduring mental health conditions and behavioural support requirements.

About the role: You will be advising and working closely with the Care Team to deliver the highest standards of individual care to our residents, ensuring everyone is treated with respect and each individual’s care plan is met. Responsibilities include:

  • Regularly reviewing and completing all documentation as required
  • Ensuring that the appropriate documentation reflects the care given and any clinical intervention
  • Leaving clear, concise and personalised instructions for ongoing care delivery
  • Monitoring and controlling residents’ nutritional and dietary requirements
  • Supporting, guiding and leading the team to ensure the safety of residents and staff

Qualifications & Experience: For this role, it is essential that you:

  • Are currently registered with NMC for appropriate client group (valid PIN number)
  • Have relevant care home experience
  • Have experience in medication administration, wound care, infection control and pressure area care
