Dovehaven care homes are recruiting for a Registered General Nurse to join our team at Birch Abbey Nursing Home, Alexandra Road in Southport. Working NIGHTS - 8pm - 8am on a rota basis - alternate weekend availability required!
Birch Abbey is a nursing home catering for up to 60 residents. The home specialises in dementia care, and our aim is to ensure all our residents feel as comfortable as possible. Our homes promote independence, dignity and respect through positive risk taking and empowerment.
About the Role:
- Our ideal applicant will have previous experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) within a similar setting.
- Working closely with the care and management team, you will promote high standards of nursing care by ensuring all staff are supervised appropriately and the shift runs in a smooth and efficient manner.
- You will be required to perform all general nursing duties, following CQC and NMC guidelines, update care plans and administer safe medication.
- You will provide a high standard of care, work well as part of a team and individually.
