Dovehaven Care Homes are recruiting for a Support Worker to join our team at Cedar Garden, Tag Lane, Preston. We currently have Days & Nights available, working hours will be 8-8 with every other weekend availability required - 44hr, 33hr, or 22hr contracts available. Cedar Garden is a 30 bed dementia specialist, male only facility. Our aim is to ensure all our residents feel as comfortable as possible; our homes promote independence, dignity and respect through positive risk taking and empowerment. Please note – there is a genuine occupational requirement as to why male only applicants are needed, as you will be supporting males with very high dementia.

About the Role: As a Support Worker, you’ll play a vital part in helping individuals achieve their goals and maintain independence. You’ll support with personal care, daily living activities, and engagement in therapeutic routines, using trauma-informed approaches and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS).
