Domestic/ Laundry Assistant (Maternity leave cover) Temp to Perm contract may be available at Dovehaven Lodge Nursing Home, Tag Lane, Preston. 9-12 months contract, 4 days a week, 7am-5pm one week, 8am-6pm the following week on a rota basis with every other weekend availability required.

About the role:

As a domestic/ laundry assistant you will be responsible for ensuring a clean safe environment is provided for our residents, visitors and staff and be an important part of the team that ensures residents in our care feel valued. Duties will include following a daily schedule for cleaning within the home, hoovering, dusting, polishing, shampooing carpets, mopping floors, washing, ironing of resident’s clothes, linen, and ensure all property goes back into the correct resident’s room, also completing other duties as required.
