We have been providing quality care for our residents for over 40 years and pride ourselves on the happy, welcoming atmosphere in all of our homes. Dovehaven provide a full range of care for residential and nursing needs, for both long term and respite periods.
An exciting opportunity for a Registered Manager has arisen at Brooklands Care Home in Liverpool.
Brooklands is a 43 bedded residential care home located in the heart of Liverpool. The home offers exceptional dementia care, ensuring that every resident receives compassionate, personalised support in a comfortable and friendly environment.
The dedicated team at Brooklands is committed to creating a true home-from-home, where residents can live with dignity, independence, and a sense of belonging. Tailored care plans are designed to meet individual needs, with a focus on enhancing well-being and creating meaningful moments every day.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing and developing high-quality services for all our residents
- Developing and guiding the team of staff.
- Encourage and instill a culture of care and continuous improvement across the service
- Actively working with staff, residents and their families, to help shape and develop a centre of excellence for person-centred care.
- The promotion of high standards of care, following CQC guidelines, and by ensuring all staff are managed appropriately and the Home runs in a smooth and efficient manner.
Skills and Experience:
- Self-motivated, resilient and well-organised
- Dependable and honest
- Able to work well under pressure and flexible to meet the needs of the residents and the Home.
- Demonstrate a track record in leading, motivating, managing and developing staff.
- A clear understanding of leadership responsibilities in social care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Essential Skills:
- Proven management experience within the sector
- Experience of leadership and mentoring staff
- An enhanced DBS certificate is required for this role
