Clinical Senior Care Assistant (Days)
Callands Nursing Home, Warrington
44 hour contract, four days a week, 12-hour shifts 7am-7pm on a rota basis with every other weekend availability required.
Day shifts are ideal if you enjoy a more social, active environment, building relationships with residents and families, and supporting activities and daily routines.

About Callands Care Home
Callands is a welcoming home in the heart of Warrington, offering tailored care across five smaller households, each designed to feel calm, personal, and familiar. We support up to 120 residents with a wide range of needs, offering personalised care in an environment where your loved one can feel safe, comfortable and understood.
To create a true sense of belonging and connection, our home is thoughtfully divided into five households, each named after a beautiful body of water from the Lake District.
About the Role
As the Clinical Senior Care Assistant, you will manage the care team within the Home and ensure that care staff adhere to CQC guidelines while providing exceptional levels of care to residents. You will promote and deliver high standards of care and supervise and instruct less experienced staff to enable them to fully contribute to the care provided within the Home.
Skills and Experience
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Previous experience working within an elderly care setting.
- Self‑motivated, resilient and well‑organised
- Team player but able to work on your own initiative
- Dependable, able to work well under pressure and flexible to meet the needs of the Home
- Previous supervisory experience within a care/nursing home setting and experience of working with the elderly
Qualifications
NVQ level 3 in health & social care is essential along with a dedicated passion for providing exceptional care.
