About Us

Dovecote is a leading multi‑disciplinary referral hospital based in Castle Donington, specialising in Neurology, Orthopaedics, Soft Tissue Surgery, Oncology, and Dermatology. Our services also include certificate‑led Internal Medicine and Ophthalmology, alongside a first opinion and out‑of‑hours emergency service for the local community. Equipped with cutting‑edge digital imaging facilities—MRI, CT, digital X‑ray, and ultrasound—we're at the forefront of veterinary care and innovation.

The Role

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse on our expanding team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high‑quality patient care within a collaborative and supportive environment.

  • Hours: 40 hours per week, structured over four 10‑hour shifts
  • Shift Times: Scheduled between 07:30 and 19:30
  • Breaks: 30‑minute unpaid lunch daily
  • Days Off: Three days off per week
  • Weekend Rota: Participate in our weekend rota with time off in lieu
  • Out of Hours: Some weekend out‑of‑hours shifts supporting our Mi‑Night service alongside inpatient care
