Dovecote School is an Ofsted-registered independent special school for pupils aged 5-18 with autism and associated needs and social, emotional and mental health difficulties. We are seeking a Humanities Teacher who is passionate about supporting pupils' wellbeing, relationships, and personal development. You will deliver inclusive, trauma-informed Humanities lessons in a safe and supportive environment, adapting content to meet individual needs and working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure consistency and safeguarding.

  • Is a qualified teacher (or has significant tutoring/teaching experience)
  • Has a calm, reflective, and inclusive approach
  • Can deliver sensitive topics with confidence and care
  • Is committed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
  • SEN/SEMH experience is welcome but not essential
