Role: Night Shift Despatch Operative
Day Rate: £113.78 per day
Contract: Permanent
Shift Available: Sunday to Thursday 22:00pm to 6:30am

We are a family business established in Yorkshire in 1997 based in Darrington just outside of Skellingthorpe with a reputation for exceptional product, innovation, and industry-leading animal welfare standards. Our facilities combine traditional British butchery techniques with some of the best technological prowess in the food sector. A committed team of over 800 staff oversee the whole process from procuring the best possible livestock from our carefully picked group of farms, through butchery, retail packaging, and despatch before it finally arrives on the supermarket shelf or as part of the restaurant dining experience.
About you:
- Previous experience within the food industry is advantageous but it is not essential! Full training will be given.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Must have own transport
- Flexible in your ability to work on your own or within a Team

- Are willing to work in a physically challenging environment
Role:
- Maintain and rotate stock
- Working in a chilled environment
- Operate machinery, scanning and weighing trays, whilst stacking product onto pallets
- Pick and scan orders
- Check through orders through internal database
- Securely wrap pallets prior to despatch
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Adhering to SOP’s
- Manual handling and the use of manual handling equipment
