Role: Abattoir Operative

Day Rate: £109.20 to £166.09 per day depending upon experience

Contract: Permanent

Shift Available: 5:45am to 14:15pm fixed Monday to Friday

A committed team of over 800 staff oversee the whole process from procuring the best possible livestock from our carefully picked group of farms, through butchery, retail packaging, and despatch before it finally arrives on the supermarket shelf or as part of the restaurant dining experience.

About you:

  • Previous experience within the food industry is advantageous but it is not essential! Full training will be given.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment

Role:

  • The position is based in our Abattoir department
  • Scanning and wrapping of products
  • Store waste in designated areas
  • Clean Plant throughout the day
  • Heavy lifting
  • Use of manual handling equipment
