Role: Hygiene Operative

Rate: £14.41 per hour

Contract: Permanent

Shift Available: Monday to Friday, 14:00pm to 22:30pm

Company Overview: We are a family business established in Yorkshire in 1997 based in Pontefract with a reputation for exceptional product, innovation and industry leading animal welfare standards. Our facilities combine traditional British butchery technique with some of the best technological prowess in the food sector. A committed team of over 800 staff oversee the whole process: from procuring the best possible livestock from our carefully picked group of farms, through butchery, retail packaging and despatch before it finally arrives on the supermarket shelf or as part of the restaurant dining experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with chemicals and wearing full PPE.
  • Working with cleaning solutions, materials, and cleaning equipment e.g., low pressure system.
  • Checking that all machinery and equipment in the area is in a safe state before starting the cleaning.
  • Deep cleaning of the factory to procedure, stripping and rebuilding equipment.
  • Working to procedure within a tight time scale delivering quality cleaning.
