Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 7am to 2pm (some weekend work will be required)

About you:
- Previous experience working within the food sector
- Experience of assisting preparation of both hot and cold meals
- Understanding of food hygiene
- A good work ethic
Role:
- Ensure that all Standard Operating Procedures are strictly adhered to
- Serving customers Hot and Cold Food on the front counter in a polite and courteous manner
- Taking payment from customers and using the till
- Ensuring the Vending Machines are replenished and well stocked
- Ensuring that tables and the restaurant area are kept clean and tidy
- Assist with the preparation of fresh sandwiches
- Assist with the preparation of vegetables and meals
- Assisting the kitchen with any general food prep
- Ensuring all crockery and cutlery is washed and ready for customers to use
- Assisting with the washing and cleaning of all restaurant equipment
- Work in a way which minimizes or eliminates food safety risks such as cross contamination
- Put and store waste in designated places
- Ensure finished product is separated from raw materials to prevent cross contamination or any other hazards to food safety
- Ensure that the hygiene standards are maintained at all times for the equipment and staff and ancillary areas, and that all storage areas are kept clean and tidy.
