Rate: £13 per hour

Contract: Permanent

Location: Pontefract, WF8 3DD

Shift Available: 06:00 to 18:00pm (2-week rotating shift pattern (WK1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday = 44 hours, WK2: Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday = 33 hours))

Our facilities combine traditional British butchery technique with some of the best technological prowess in the food sector. A committed team of over 800 staff oversee the whole process: from procuring the best possible livestock from our carefully picked group of farms, through butchery, retail packaging and despatch before it finally arrives on the supermarket shelf or as part of the restaurant dining experience.

About you:

  • Previous experience within the food industry is advantageous but it is not essential! Full training will be given.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment

Role:

  • Maintain and rotate stock
  • Working in a chilled environment
  • Operate machinery, scanning and weighing trays, whilst stacking product onto pallets
  • Pick and scan orders
  • Check through orders through internal database
  • Securely wrap pallets prior to despatch
  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • Adhering to SOP’s
  • Manual handling and the use of manual handling equipment
