Dove House is an Outstanding school and is one of five schools within Solent Academies Trust. We are seeking to recruit a highly organised, proactive, and compassionate individual to work within the Pupil Support Team.
Personal attributes
The Pupil Support Practitioner will deliver high quality pastoral and behaviour support across the school. This is a pivotal role requiring excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills. You will promote the development of the physical and mental well-being of pupils alongside the promotion of positive behaviour. Candidates will have experience of working with children/young people. You will understand the varied needs of children as they develop socially, emotionally, and academically. You will be a motivated and vibrant individual with empathy for children with special needs.

The working hours for this role are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, 8am to 4pm; Wednesday 8.30am to 4.30pm; and Friday 8am to 3.30pm. You will work for 39 weeks of the year; however, you will be paid for 44.85 weeks. Your salary will be paid in 12 equal monthly instalments.
