Location: Market Weighton
Salary: £26,503 full time equivalent per annum
Hours of work: 30 hours or 37.5 hours per week available (to be worked 4 or 5 out of 7 days on a rota basis) Monday to Sunday (this will include Bank Holidays). Daily hours 08:45-17:15 Monday to Saturday and 09:45-16:15 on Sundays.
About the shop and role: As a Shop Manager, you will lead the smooth and effective running of one of our Dove House shops, ensuring a professional, welcoming environment that reflects our values of being passionate, positive and professional. You’ll work closely with staff and volunteers to deliver excellent customer service, maximise income and maintain a safe, compliant and well merchandised shop.

- Provide outstanding customer service and represent Dove House with professionalism.
- Lead and motivate a team, offering guidance, support and clear direction.
- Manage stock, pricing, merchandising and shop layout to maximise income.
- Work calmly under pressure and use your initiative to problem solve.
- Use EPOS systems and basic IT confidently.
