Overview

1 x 22.5 hour per week position. 2 x 15 hours per week positions available. Role open to applications until 1st July 2026. Interview date TBC. Location Hull. Salary £25,986 FTE, pro rata for part time.

Hours of work:

  • 15 hours per week; 2 days per week on a rota basis. Monday to Sunday (including Bank Holidays). Daily hours 08:45‑17:15 on Monday to Saturday; 09:45‑16:15 on Sunday.
  • 22.5 hours per week; 3 days per week on a rota basis. Monday to Sunday (including Bank Holidays). Daily hours 08:45‑17:15 on Monday to Saturday; 09:45‑16:15 on Sunday.

Responsibilities

As a Re Use Driver & PAT Tester, you will collect and deliver items, prepare stock, carry out PAT testing and keep the Re Use operation running smoothly while delivering great service to customers, colleagues, and volunteers.

Qualifications

  • Confidently drive a 3.5 ton Luton van;
  • Work independently and as part of a team to deliver a high‑quality, reliable service;
  • Handle a varied, active role involving driving, manual handling and customer interaction;
  • Bring a positive, professional approach and represent Dove House Hospice in the community.
