Live In Carer - Full Time

*DUTIES:*
* Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition.
* Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance.
* Support clients with dementia care, employing behaviour management techniques to ensure their well-being.
* Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
* Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation.
* Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to hygiene protocols.
* Drive clients to appointments or social outings as required.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalised care plans.
* Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the overall quality of life for clients.
* Follow care plans and communicate any changes in the client\’s condition to the supervisor

*REQUIREMENTS:*
* Eligible to work in the UK (we *do not* offer sponsorships)
* Must have 3 years care experience
* Knowledge and understanding of manual handling of vulnerable people.
* Proficiency in English to effectively communicate with clients
* A DBS on the update service
* Willingness to travel

*SKILLS:*
* Experience in home care or a care home setting is preferred
* Proficiency in English to effectively communicate with clients
* Ability to follow care plans and provide quality care
* Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients
* Basic IT skills for documentation purposes
* Valid driver\’s license for transportation needs
