Our client, a growing commercial property management and asset management business, is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team. The company specialises in acquiring, managing and enhancing commercial property assets, with a focus on delivering long-term value through proactive asset management and strong tenant relationships.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day bookkeeping and financial administration of a commercial property portfolio, ensuring financial accuracy, compliance and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate financial records across a portfolio of commercial properties.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Manage rental income and service charge accounts.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, client accounts and supplier statements.
  • Monitor rent collections and assist with arrears reporting.
  • Process invoices, payments, and expense claims.
  • Prepare journals, accruals, and prepayments as required.
  • Produce monthly management reports and financial summaries.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Support year-end accounting processes and liaise with external accountants.
  • Respond to financial queries from tenants and suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance.
