Working within the Property Management team, you'll be responsible for managing outstanding rent payments, supporting landlords and tenants, and ensuring accounts remain up to date.
This is a people-focused client accounting role where strong communication skills are just as important as your attention to detail.
Your responsibilities will include
- Chasing outstanding rent payments from tenants.
- Speaking with landlords and tenants to resolve account queries.
- Negotiating realistic payment plans where appropriate.
- Minimising arrears and reducing outstanding debt.
- Liaising with overseas landlords as well as UK-based clients.
- Monitoring client accounts and maintaining accurate records.
- Responding to telephone and email enquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Working closely with the Property Management team to resolve issues quickly.
We're looking for someone who has experience within residential estate agency client accounts or property management accounting and who enjoys working with people.
You’ll ideally have
- Previous experience in residential client accounting, property management accounts or estate agency credit control.
- Excellent communication skills with confidence speaking to landlords and tenants over the phone.
- Strong organisation and attention to detail.
- The ability to handle difficult conversations professionally and positively.
- A proactive approach to resolving outstanding payments.
- Good administrative and IT skills.
- A team-focused attitude with a willingness to help colleagues when needed.
