Housing Associate Rates Manager - Shoreditch - £35,000 - £40,000 DOE My client, a business rates advisory company are looking for a Housing Association Rates Manager to join their company.
This role is for an experienced Council Tax/Business Rates or housing/property administration professional with strong local authority knowledge, excel/data reconciliation skills and ability to manage high-volume caseloads.
The successful candidate will be responsible for Council Tax and Business Rates case management, local authority liaison, portfolio/data reconciliation, exemptions and reliefs, account/query resolution, management reporting, KPIs and workflow/process improvement.
You will act as the primary contact between the client, local authorities, neighbourhood teams and finance teams.
Responsibilities: Council Tax Business Rates Administration Review and validate incoming Council Tax and Business Rates bills for the current financial year.
Verify liable parties, tenancy dates and property records.
Investigate billing discrepancies and ownership queries.
Monitor and resolve incorrect billing and liability issues.
