Working Hours:
Monday -Friday 9:00- 17:30pm
Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Carrying out necessary fire risk assessments across the residential portfolio of the group
- Reviewing previous assessments, maintenance records, contractor reports and fire strategies
- Inspecting communal areas, fire doors, alarm systems, emergency lighting and other relevant fire safety measures
- Working directly with property managers, clients, contractors and the senior leadership team
- Reviewing own work and helping colleagues to ensure accuracy, consistency and quality
- Prioritising assessments according to the risk level and managing own diary
Must have:
- Fire risk assessment experience across residential buildings
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organised and punctual
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
- A keen problem solver and good under pressure
- Client facing
- Strong administration and excellent IT skills
- Ability to build long-term relationships with landlords
- Positive and encouraging attitude
Good to have but not essential:
- NEBOSH
- FireQual
- The Institute of Fire Safety Managers (IFSM) or National Fire Risk Assessors Register (NFRAR)
- ABBE Level 3 Award in Fire Door Inspection
- Other related qualifications also considered
