Our client, a Property Management company specialising in block and estate management, is looking for an experienced Accounts Admin to join their small but tight-knit team.

Responsibilities:

  • Process incoming tenant rents, reconciling service charge accounts and ensuring correct funds are allocated to landlords.
  • Accounts Payable: Processing, coding, and paying contractor and supplier invoices for property maintenance and repairs.
  • Registering tenant deposits with authorised protection schemes and processing release payments at the end of tenancies.
  • Reconciliations: Performing weekly or monthly reconciliations for client bank accounts and tenant deposit accounts.
  • Monitoring rent arrears, sending follow-up reminders to tenants, and escalating uncollected payments.
  • Managing utility provider changes during tenant move-ins/outs and ensuring safety certificates (e.g., gas, electrical) are financially and administratively compliant.
  • Manage contractor invoices and payments.
  • Liaise with contractors and leaseholders regarding invoices and payments.
  • PA to the CEO.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Previous experience working on service charge accounts.
  • Block management experience ideal.
  • Ability to use own initiative.
  • The ability to work in a team.
