We are recruiting on behalf of an established property investment and development business for an experienced Property Manager to join its team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercial property professional looking for a part-time role with broad responsibility and genuine autonomy. Working closely with the Senior Asset Manager and Managing Director, you will take ownership of the day-to-day management of a commercial property portfolio.
The role will suit someone who is proactive, practical and highly organised, with the confidence to manage occupiers, contractors, maintenance, compliance and building operations.
The Role
Reporting to the Senior Asset Manager and Managing Director, you will be responsible for the effective day-to-day management of the commercial property portfolio, ensuring properties are well maintained, compliant, secure and operating efficiently.
You will act as a key point of contact for occupiers, contractors and service providers, balancing excellent customer service with effective cost and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
Property & Portfolio Management
- Take day-to-day responsibility for the management of the commercial property portfolio.
- Act as the primary contact for occupiers, contractors and service providers.
- Carry out regular property inspections and oversee maintenance and repairs.
- Prepare and manage service charges, property budgets and expenditure.
- Monitor costs and ensure value for money.
- Oversee business rates and related matters for vacant properties.
Occupier & Contractor Management
- Develop strong, professional relationships with occupiers and suppliers.
- Respond promptly to issues and ensure effective service delivery.
