We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Property Manager to join a busy office in Marylebone. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years' experience in property management, excellent communication skills, and a strong focus on accuracy and client service. This role involves managing the day-to-day management of residential properties, ensuring a high level of service to landlords and tenants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Allocating reservation fees and processing new tenant files, setting up tenancies accurately on the system
  • Collecting, authorising and monitoring rent payments
  • Preparing landlord statements and invoices
  • Managing weekly contractor and agent fee payments and producing statements
  • Charging contractor expenses and processing miscellaneous payments such as refunds and final utility bills
  • Handling deposit transfers and repayments
  • Ensuring accurate daily banking totals and carrying out regular account reconciliations
  • Chasing rent arrears and unpaid landlord invoices
  • Assisting the external accountant with annual audits
  • Instructing contractors to carry out routine maintenance and repairs
  • Organising gas safety and electrical safety inspections
  • Arranging property inspections and sending reports to landlords
  • Providing out-of-hours emergency repair cover when required

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' property management
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment
  • ARLA Qualified is beneficial but not essential

Salary & Benefits

  • £37,500 salary
  • Opportunity to earn commission through revenue generated from maintenance works
  • Monday to Thursday, 9:00am-6:00pm; Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm
  • Office based in Marylebone
