Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a Financial Adviser Assistant. You will play a crucial role in supporting the Senior Adviser by managing day-to-day administrative tasks, assisting with client enquiries, and helping prepare financial reports and recommendations. You will be working closely with clients and internal teams, ensuring that our high standards of service and compliance are maintained at all times. A sound knowledge of services such as investments, taxation, and retirement planning is essential. This is an exciting opportunity to join our firm as the business rapidly expands.
Basic Salary from £40,000
Key Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Assist with the preparation and organisation of client files and onboarding administration for new clients
- Support financial adviser with research, analysis, and product comparisons to recommend suitable options
- Liaise with product providers to obtain relevant client policy details and information
- Ensure electronic client files are maintained and kept up to date
- Assist in maintaining a high standard of file organisation and documentation
- Prepare client valuations, illustrations, and review reports as required
- Conduct fund research to support client recommendations
- Compile detailed Suitability Reports to ensure alignment with client needs
- Ensure all client files remain compliant with relevant regulations and standards
- Manage cases through to completion, ensuring all tasks are executed efficiently and to a high standard
- Attending annual review meetings
About You:
- Proven experience in financial planning or a related field (essential)
- CII Level 4 Diploma (essential)
- Excellent understanding of the FCA and how a financial services firm operates
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and client-facing skills
- Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail, with the capacity to handle complex financial data
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients and projects effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
