A Clinical Negligence Legal Assistant/Secretary is wanted for an excellent opportunity with a Legal 500 law firm based in Sheffield. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.

My client is an award winning, chambers rated firm with an excellent reputation in the market. Due to continued growth and expansion, they are looking to recruit a Clinical Negligence Legal Assistant/Secretary to join their highly regarded department where you will support solicitors in delivering an exceptional service to clients pursuing medical negligence claims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to fee earners in the Clinical Negligence department
  • Prepare, format, and amend legal documents and correspondence using digital dictation
  • Manage diaries, arrange appointments, and coordinate meetings and travel as required
  • Liaise professionally with clients, medical experts, and other legal professionals
  • Maintain accurate case management records and file documentation
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and post in a timely and efficient manner
  • You will ideally have at least 1 years’ experience as a Legal Secretary or Assistant within Clinical Negligence, Personal Injury, or a related litigation area. Experience working with an electronic case management system would be a distinct advantage. In addition, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive and professional approach.
