A highly regarded and expanding civil litigation team is seeking a Senior Solicitor to join its supportive and dynamic environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned litigator to handle a complex and high-value caseload, provide guidance to junior colleagues, and contribute meaningfully to the department’s continued growth and reputation.
The Role:
- Managing a diverse caseload, including landlord and tenant disputes, real property litigation, and contractual disagreements with a high degree of autonomy.
- Delivering clear, strategic legal advice on a range of civil and property-related disputes.
- Drafting and preparing legal correspondence, pleadings, and supporting court documentation.
- Collaborating with courts, barristers, expert witnesses, and external professionals, instructing counsel where appropriate.
- Representing clients in hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
- Mentoring and supervising junior colleagues, including trainees, paralegals, and support staff, to promote learning and professional development.
- Taking an active role in business development and networking activities to expand the firm’s litigation offering.
What We’re Looking For:
- A qualified solicitor with 7+ years’ PQE in civil litigation.
- Significant experience handling a broad litigation caseload, with strong expertise in landlord and tenant law, real property disputes, and commercial litigation.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
- A strong team player with a confident and collaborative approach.
- Proven ability to supervise and develop junior legal staff.
