A newly qualified solicitor (0–2 years' PQE) is required to join a highly regarded, market-leading medical negligence team based in London. This top-ranked department is recognised in both The Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners and has been awarded the Legal 500 Client Satisfaction mark. The team also features in The Times list of top UK firms for personal injury and clinical negligence.
In this role, you will support senior lawyers on complex, high-value medical negligence litigation. You’ll assist with client handling, drafting, research, expert instruction, and litigation tasks under close supervision from senior solicitors and partners. This opportunity will enable you to progress your career as a Clinical Negligence Solicitor, specialising in high value, multi-million-pound high profile cases. You will be supervised and supported by a Legal500 recommended Partner.
Key Requirements:- Qualified solicitor – NQ- 2 years
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and case management abilities
- Interest in BD/Marketing activities
- Birthing Injury experience (preferred but not essential)
- Assisting in high-value, complex medical negligence cases
- Drafting legal documents, statements, and reports
- Instructing experts and Counsel
- Managing disclosure, bundles, and court documentation
- Attending court hearings and ADR processes
- Contributing to cost management and estimates
- Supporting business development, marketing, and networking activities
