I’m currently working with a highly regarded, full-service law firm that is looking to appoint a

Senior Associate into its established Private Client & Tax team .

The firm has an entrepreneurial and commercially focused client base, acting for a mix of

HNW and UHNW individuals, family offices, trustees, financial institutions and businesses , with particular exposure to clients across the technology, finance, media, entertainment and sports sectors.

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented Private Client Senior Solicitor to join a collaborative and ambitious team, working on a complex and varied caseload with sophisticated UK and international clients.

Your work is likely to include

  • Drafting wills and advising on succession and wealth planning , including trusts, foundations, family investment companies and partnerships.
  • Advising on

IHT, reliefs, exemptions and double taxation , alongside wider tax planning.

  • Handling cross-border succession matters , including conflict of laws and working with overseas counsel.
  • Advising on residence, domicile and personal taxation , including CGT, income tax, remittance basis, split-year treatment and overseas workday relief.
  • Advising trustees and beneficiaries , including trust administration and restructuring.
  • Advising on mental capacity matters and LPAs .
  • Supporting clients with philanthropy, impact investing and charitable matters .
  • Advising on compliance, reporting and transparency obligations .
  • Advising on the tax implications of UK residential property structures , including IHT, CGT, corporation tax, ATED and SDLT.
  • Dealing with a broad range of other private client and tax matters .

The ideal candidate will be a strong technically minded Private Client lawyer at Senior Associate level , with an excellent academic background and high-quality training.

You’ll ideally have experience from a firm with a strong Private Client offering and be comfortable advising sophisticated HNW/UHNW clients on complex domestic and international matters.

You’ll also be
