We are working with a well-established and progressive regional law firm in Leeds that is looking to appoint an experiencedEmployment Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years’ PQEto join its growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an employment lawyer who is looking for adown-to-earth, supportive and forward-thinking firm, where you will have the opportunity to take ownership of a varied caseload and develop your career in a genuinely collaborative environment.

The Role

You will advise bothclaimants and respondentsacross a broad range of employment matters, including:

  • Discrimination claims
  • Unfair and wrongful dismissal
  • Settlement agreements
  • Employment Tribunal claims and hearings
  • Redundancies and restructuring
  • Disciplinary and grievance matters
  • Employment contracts and policies
  • General contentious and non-contentious employment advice

You will work closely with clients, providing practical and commercially focused advice while managing your own caseload and representing clients through the employment litigation process where required.

You will be an experienced Employment Solicitor withat least 5 years’ PQE, with strong experience across a broad range of employment matters.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Confident handling both claimant and respondent work
  • Experienced in Employment Tribunal proceedings and hearings
  • Commercially minded and able to provide pragmatic advice
  • Comfortable managing their own caseload
  • A strong communicator with excellent client skills
  • Collaborative and supportive in their approach
  • Looking for a long-term move to a progressive and approachable firm
