A highly regarded London law firm is seeking an experienced Family Paralegal to join its award-winning Family team.

The successful candidate will primarily support a senior partner and the wider team on a varied caseload, while also providing assistance across the department as required.
You ideally will have:
- A law degree or equivalent legal qualification.
- At least 12 months' experience working as a Family Paralegal within a private practice law firm.
- A genuine interest in family litigation and a desire to develop your expertise within this area.
- Experience supporting matters involving financial remedy proceedings.
- Experience assisting on private children law matters.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence dealing with clients, counsel, court staff and other professionals.
- A proactive approach, using initiative to solve problems and support fee earners effectively.
- The ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong IT skills and confidence using Microsoft Office and legal case management systems. Experience with software such as iManage, Bundledocs, Quantum, DocuSign or similar legal technology would be advantageous.
This is a varied position offering exposure to all aspects of family law support.
Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting partners and associates with the preparation of legal documents, correspondence and court papers.
- Preparing, formatting and proofreading documentation to a high standard.
- Compiling electronic court bundles and hearing bundles.
- Drafting forms and standard legal documentation.
- Opening new matters and assisting with AML and client onboarding procedures.
- Managing electronic files and ensuring documents are accurately stored within the firm's document management system.
- Supporting fee earners with diary management, inbox management and meeting coordination.
- Monitoring key court deadlines and maintaining accurate case records.
- Liaising with clients, the courts, counsel and other third parties on behalf of fee earners.
- Assisting with billing administration and financial processes.
- Attending client meetings where appropriate and providing general administrative support.
- Supporting marketing and business development initiatives as required.
