The Role
- You will manage a broad range of privately funded Family Law matters, including:
- Divorce and separation.
- Financial remedy matters.
- High-net-worth financial cases.
- Private children matters.
- Cohabitation disputes.
- Pre and post-nuptial agreements.
- Complex relationship breakdown cases.
- Other privately funded Family Law matters.
Alongside fee-earning responsibilities, you will play a central role in developing the department's reputation, generating new work and expanding its presence throughout Manchester and the wider North West market.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will be
- A qualified Solicitor with significant experience in privately funded Family Law.
- A Partner, Legal Director, Head of Family or ambitious Senior Associate seeking a genuine leadership opportunity.
- Commercially minded with a proven ability to develop work and build client relationships.
- Able to demonstrate strong technical expertise across a broad range of Family Law matters.
- Passionate about developing and mentoring junior lawyers.
- Entrepreneurial in their approach and excited by the opportunity to build and grow a practice.
An existing client following or established referrer network would be advantageous but is not essential for the right individual.
