This role offers excellent client contact from day one, allowing you to manage your own caseload while supporting on high-value and technically challenging matters. The Role

You’ll advise clients across a varied caseload of private family matters, including:

  • Financial remedy proceedings
  • Private children disputes
  • Complex and international children matters
  • High-net-worth and sensitive family cases

Alongside managing your own matters, you'll work closely with senior lawyers on more complex cases, helping to deliver practical, commercial and client-focused solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a varied caseload of family law matters from instruction through to conclusion
  • Advising clients on financial remedy and private children proceedings
  • Preparing court applications, witness statements, financial disclosure and other legal documentation
  • Supporting Partners on complex and cross-border family matters
  • Instructing and liaising with counsel, experts and other professional advisers
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, delivering exceptional levels of client care
  • Ensuring accurate file management, time recording and billing
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider business
  • Contributing to business development through networking, marketing initiatives, articles, podcasts and industry events

The successful candidate will be an experienced Family Solicitor with a solid grounding in both financial and children work. You'll be confident managing your own caseload while also enjoying working as part of a collaborative team on more complex matters. You’ll also have:

  • Strong technical knowledge of private family law
  • Excellent communication and drafting skills
  • A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach
  • Outstanding client care and relationship management skills
