The opportunity would suit a Childcare Solicitor or Legal Executive and the firm would be especially keen to hear from you if you are a child panel member or someone who has led teams and mentored staff.
Your role will include
- Representing parents, family members and children in all aspects of public law proceedings across courts predominately in the Southwest but also further afield
- Representing children in R16.4 proceedings
- Being willing to take instructions from competent children
- Private law children work available
- Conducting your own advocacy
- Maintaining professional accreditations
- Supervision of fellow fee earners
- Nurturing trainees
- Travel for meetings and court dates so ability to drive and daily access to a car is essential
You will have the autonomy to run your own files while being supported by an experienced and collaborative team.
