Family Partner - Legal 500 Firm

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an established Family Partner to join a growing and ambitious law firm in South Manchester.

This is a senior opportunity for a strong privately funded Family Lawyer looking for high-quality work, HNW clients and genuine scope to develop a team and build the department.

The Role

  • You will handle a varied caseload of privately funded Family matters, including:
  • Divorce and complex financial remedy.
  • HNW and high-value financial matters.
  • Children and injunction work.
  • Cohabitation disputes.
  • Pre and post-nuptial agreements.
  • Surrogacy and fertility matters.

Alongside fee earning, you will play a key role in generating new business, developing professional relationships and raising the firm's profile across the South Manchester/Chrshire market.

You will also supervise and support junior members of the team and contribute to the continued growth and development of the department.

About You

The ideal candidate will be an established Family Partner with

  • Strong private Family Law experience, ideally from a national or leading regional firm.
  • A proven track record handling high-quality and HNW work.
  • Excellent technical and client management skills.
  • A genuine appetite for networking and business development.
  • Experience mentoring or supervising junior lawyers.
  • The ambition to help grow and shape a Family department.
