A highly respected, multi-service law firm in West Yorkshire is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join its successful and growing Residential Property team. Working as part of a busy and supportive residential property team, you will provide legal and administrative support to a team of experienced Conveyancers, assisting on a varied range of residential property matters. Your responsibilities will include:
- Client onboarding and opening new files
- Requesting and reviewing property searches
- Drafting contracts and legal documentation
- Assisting with sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity
- Supporting on complex residential property matters
- Assisting with secured lending transactions
- Providing support on development work
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and third parties
- General file management and administrative duties throughout the conveyancing process
About You
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have:
- A minimum of 6 months' current experience working as a Conveyancing Assistant or Conveyancing Paralegal
- Experience supporting residential conveyancing transactions
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- A proactive and professional approach with strong attention to detail
- The ability to work effectively within a busy team environment
