A highly regarded and progressive law firm based in the heart of York is seeking an experienced and ambitious Head of Family to lead and grow its Family Law department. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified solicitor with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE who is ready to take the next step into a leadership role. You will play a key part in shaping the future of the department, managing a small but talented team, and driving continued growth.
The Role:
- Manage a varied caseload of private family matters, including divorce, financial remedy, and children work
- Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of fee earners
- Take a proactive role in marketing and business development initiatives
- Drive the strategic expansion and development of the Family department
- Work closely with senior leadership to enhance the firm’s reputation and client offering
