A well established and highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Employment Paralegal to join its Employment team based in the Stockport office. This is an excellent opportunity for an Employment Paralegal with proven experience to take on a hands on role within a busy and supportive team. The position offers genuine responsibility, exposure to high quality work and clear progression prospects, including the strong likelihood of a Training Contract for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will support senior fee earners while also managing their own workload. Some tasks will be at fee earner level, so prior employment paralegal experience is essential. Responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting settlement agreements and related documentation
  • Assisting with employment tribunal matters
  • Advising on day to day employment law queries under supervision
  • Preparing correspondence, documents and bundles
  • Liaising directly with clients in a professional and confident manner
  • Supporting solicitors on both contentious and non contentious employment matters
