Solicitor – Child Abuse Compensation

Location: Flexible (Northwest and Yorkshire) / Remote Working (UK) (MUST BE WITHIN TRAVEL DISTANCE OF THE NORTHWEST / YORKSHIRE)

Salary: Upto £60,000

We are seeking a dedicated Solicitor to join a nationally recognised Child Abuse Compensation team. This is a fee-earning role managing cases from start to finish, covering child sexual exploitation (CSE), grooming gangs, and other child abuse matters. Applicants at all PQE levels are welcome.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of child abuse cases, including CSE, grooming gangs, and related matters
  • Conduct case reviews, analyse documentation, and provide legal advice
  • Attend client meetings and provide support throughout the legal process
  • Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with professional standards
  • Collaborate with other professionals, experts, and external agencies to build cases
  • Adhere to confidentiality and professional conduct requirements
  • Comply with training and other firm-directed duties

Skills & Experience:

  • Excellent communication skills, with empathy and professionalism
  • Strong knowledge of child abuse law, particularly CSE, grooming gangs, and civil claims
  • Proven experience managing child abuse cases, including case preparation and client interaction
  • Excellent analytical ability with attention to detail
  • Client-focused, able to maintain strong relationships and provide exceptional client care
