Are you an experienced Legal Secretary with a background in Private Client law?
A well-established law firm in Oldham is looking for a professional and proactive individual to join their Private Client department.
As a Legal Secretary within the Private Client team, you’ll provide vital support to fee earners handling a broad caseload, including Wills, Probate, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, and Court of Protection matters.
Providing comprehensive secretarial support to solicitors, including digital dictation, diary management, and client correspondence.
Preparing legal documents, forms, and court applications in a timely and accurate manner.
Ensuring all file administration is kept up to date, both electronically and in hard copy, using the firm’s case management system.
Handling billing and time-recording tasks, ensuring prompt invoicing and accurate financial records.
Supporting the wider team with general administrative tasks and contributing to a positive office environment.
Previous experience working as a legal secretary, ideally within a Private Client team.
Excellent typing and IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with case management systems.
