A leading Cambridge based Real Estate Disputes team is looking to expand and welcomes applications from lawyers at newly qualified to mid-level Associate. The role is open to those already specialising in property litigation, as well as commercial disputes lawyers seeking to focus on this dynamic and highly relevant area.The successful candidate will join a friendly, approachable, and highly regarded team, known for both its technical excellence and its supportive culture. Junior solicitors will benefit from close mentoring, access to senior lawyers, and a wealth of development opportunities to help them grow in confidence and expertise.The team works with a diverse portfolio of clients, including international corporates, national and local businesses, local authorities, charities, and private individuals. There will also be opportunities to collaborate with colleagues across the firm’s national network.Work undertaken spans a broad range of commercial and residential property disputes, including, commercial lease renewals, rent reviews, assignments & subletting, breaches of lease covenants, unlawful use and alterations, possession claims, lease break rights, and mixed-use schemes.The ideal candidate will:
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with up to 5 years of relevant PQE
- Have experience in commercial disputes with a keen interest in specialising in real estate disputes, or existing real estate disputes experience.
- Work collaboratively and manage client relationships effectively.
- Demonstrate strong commercial awareness, attention to detail, and organisational skills.
- Be confident and proactive, with the ability to manage their own caseload.
