London | 2β6 PQE | Leading International Law Firm
An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Projects Solicitor or Senior Associate (2β6 PQE) to join the highly regarded Projects team of a leading international law firm in London.
The firm is recognised for its expertise in major infrastructure, energy and public sector projects, advising on some of the most complex and strategically significant developments in the UK and internationally.
This opportunity offers exposure to high-value, often landmark projects across transport, highways, utilities, renewable energy, nuclear power, social infrastructure and major government programmes.
With a well-established team, a strong pipeline of instructions and continued investment in its Projects practice, the firm offers an excellent platform for ambitious lawyers seeking high-quality work, meaningful responsibility and long-term career progression.
The Role
Working alongside recognised market-leading Partners and senior lawyers, the successful candidate will advise a diverse client base comprising developers, contractors, infrastructure investors, financial institutions, utilities and public sector organisations.
The work will encompass:
- Advising on major infrastructure and energy projects, both domestically and internationally.
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex project and commercial documentation.
- Advising on project development, procurement and delivery structures.
- Supporting major transport, highways, rail and public infrastructure programmes.
- Working on renewable energy, nuclear, conventional power and wider energy transition projects.
- Advising on PPP/PFI arrangements and other public-private infrastructure structures.
- Managing individual workstreams and liaising directly with clients, counterparties and advisers.
- Collaborating with colleagues across the firm's international offices on cross-border matters.
The breadth of the practice provides excellent opportunities to develop specialist expertise while gaining exposure to a variety of sectors, transaction structures and commercially significant projects.
About the Team
The successful candidate will join one of the market's most established Projects practices, with a substantial London team and strong international presence.
The team regularly advises on nationally significant transport infrastructure, major energy developments, government-led infrastructure programmes and complex international projects.
Despite the scale and quality of its work, the practice maintains a genuinely collaborative and supportive culture, with Partners taking an active role in mentoring and developing junior and mid-level lawyers.
Associates are encouraged to take ownership of matters, develop direct client relationships and build their technical and commercial capabilities from an early stage.
About You
Applications are welcomed from solicitors with approximately 2β6 years' PQE who have developed experience within a recognised Projects, Infrastructure or Energy practice.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Strong experience advising on project development, infrastructure or energy-related transactions.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and technical legal skills.
- Experience of complex commercial or project documentation.
- Strong commercial awareness and an ability to understand sophisticated project structures.
- Confidence managing workstreams and engaging directly with clients.
- A collaborative approach and enthusiasm for working within a large, high-performing team.
